“I believe that bringing in the talent first is important for the growth of any business,” 1SEO.com CEO Lance Bachmann said on the video played at the 2012 Philadelphia SmartCEO Future 50 Awards Gala held on January 13, 2012 in Drexel Hill, PA.   Attended by 600+ people this year, the Philadelphia SmartCEO Future 50 Awards Gala celebrates the region’s 50 fastest growing companies based on employee and revenue growth over the past three years.  The Future 50 gala is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year for many area business owners.

Lights, cameras, elegance—at approximately 6:00 pm Bachmann’s team members and friends walked into the stylish Drexelbrook reception hall dressed in suits and evening gowns eager and ready to applaud their CEO because he had won an award in the “Emerging Growth Category.”

An hour and a half general reception preceded the actual awards presentation and allowed all of 1SEO.com, many other winners, various attendees, and other business professionals to have the opportunity to network with one another in an elegantly decorated reception hall as they enjoyed light hors d’oeuvres and an open bar.  After the general reception concluded, the 1SEO.com team and  crowd of 600+ walked into the grand ballroom and seated themselves for dinner and what would be the climax of the event, the awards presentation.

Dinner arrived, everyone ate, and finally at 8:30 pm, the company’s table sat in anticipation and silence as they watched the video Bachmann recorded back in November explaining what his company does, how they have come to be, and what it takes to be the best and stay that way. Two long minutes later, they announced Bachmann and 1SEO.com as a winner in the “Emerging Growth Category,” and the table erupted in wild applause.

As Bachmann walked closer to the stage all of his team and friends continued to wildly cheer their CEO as he went up to accept the prestigious award and did—all with a humble temperament.

After posing for some pictures with all of the other winners, Bachmann walked back to his table smiling at the team and talent sitting there clapping and providing the sight of the backbone for this 1SEO.com success story.  Now Bachmann and his team have some physical proof of their hard work, the success attributed to their talent—a brilliant glass trophy etched with the words “Emerging Growth Winner, 1SEO.com”
